CSNO Conference Registration

Welcome to the 71st Annual CSNO Conference Registration Site. The CSNO Conference will look a little different this year as we transition to virtual means. The design of the conference is based upon CSNO member feedback.

OVERVIEW
We’re living in a virtual world and, to a degree at least, we are all virtual individuals at this point. Our 2021 conference, of course, will be no different! A virtual environment means no travel expenses this year hopefully opening up opportunities for even more of our members than usual to participate.

WHY ATTEND OUR VIRTUAL EVENT?
This is a dynamic and changing time and ALL discussions are critical to school nurse success. Join us and be an active participant in our leadership movement. We look forward to having you involved!

The 2021 VIRTUAL Conference will provide all the things our attendees love about the CSNO Conference including opportunities to connect with others in our field, timely educational content and high-impact sessions. Not to mention social distancing at its best and without a mask! Until we are able to meet face to face again, we plan to take advantage of the benefits that go along with going virtual and hope you will as well.

  • Saves Money -- An average of $750 in travel savings per attendee – hotel, air, mileage, ground transportation, parking, other.
  • Saves Time -- Requires zero travel and less time for all.
  • Broadens Network -- Participation not geographically bound resulting in greater reach and access.
  • Provides Easy to Use Technology -- Platforms for smooth and streamlined pre-, during, and post- event connections.
  • Comes with Gifts -- Special “conference mailer” for all who register a minimum of two weeks in advance of the conference dates.
  • Multitasking in a Good Way -- You can attend from anywhere so, go ahead sit outside, do some stretching / yoga or work on crafts / hobbies and... join the sessions.
  • Environmentally Friendly -- Virtual conferences equal zero waste.
  • Never Miss a Session -- Gone are the times you are torn between which session to attend. Choose one and watch replays of the others. Along with our conference app you never miss a handout or session.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Q: Why do you need my mailing address?
A: Assuming you are registering for the conference a minimum of two weeks in advance (on or before January 20) you will receive a special “special conference mailer” a few days prior to the conference that you’ll want access to during the virtual event. Therefore, we encourage you to register well in advance of the conference dates.

The mailer will include an agenda card, game / prize pieces, coupons / giveaways, sponsor info and more. As many of you are working from home right now, please be assured your mailing addresses will not be used for any other purpose nor will they be shared. If you are registering within two weeks prior, you’ll be able to find some of the items in the conference app made available to all attendees just prior to and during the conference.

Q: How do I make changes to my registration at a later date?
A: Please contact Monika Katyal, Office Manager, at 916-448-5752 or e-mail: [email protected]. Please be sure to make any changes a minimum of 48 hours prior to conference start.

Q: What if I can no longer attend the conference? May I send someone in my place?
A: Yes! You are more than welcome to substitute someone in your place. To do so, please contact Monika Katyal, Office Manager at 916-448-5752 or e-mail: [email protected]. Please be sure to make any changes a minimum of 48 hours prior to summit start. If “special conference mailer” is already mailed (most likely on January 25th), it will be your responsibility to pass on.

Please note that only ONE "Special Conference Mailer" will be issued per registration. Provided your mailer has not been mailed, and your request has been made before the mailing, it will be mailed to the substituted registrant.

Q: Do presenters get a special rate?
A: Yes, presenters may register using the CSNO Retired, Student & Board rate for their registration type if attending the conference. If presenters are session only participants (logging in only for their session), there is no need for them to register. Presenter ONLY participants will receive a link to their specific sessions only.
